I am thinking it may be worthwhile to pay someone to help me out a couple days a week for a couple hours at a time. Anybody interested or know anyone who might be?
I mean someone with initiative - loading/unloading dishwasher, laundry, general decluttering, and anything else that would otherwise make me dread coming home.
This occured to me after I read about Puny Bradshaw in "At Home in Mitford." Puny, I need you!!

I feel the same way. I found a lady to come to my house a couple of hours a week and do the difficult cleaning. Now I get to come home on Fridays to a clean house. It is the best money I have ever spent :)
You know no one's gonna read your blog and run over to your house and clean it up for you, right??? Just checking.
My house is such a mess that Merry Maids said they'd charge me $425 for 1 CLEANING. I'm not kidding. Then, after that quote, they had the nerve to call and ask when they could schedule a cleaning. I guess we not only looked messy, but crazy.
