Be Afraid
Wal-Mart Stores Inc. of Bentonville on Tuesday confirmed reports that it was laying off workers at its northwest Arkansas headquarters in an effort to increase operational efficiencies and cut costs.

This is mind numbing. 11,616,000 PEOPLE IN THE U.S. ARE WITHOUT JOBS AS OF JANUARY That's compared t 7.6 Million the same month last year. Do you personally know anyone impacted by this?

Unfortunately I know many people affected by layoffs. It's a scary world out there. The job market here is all but dried up, and everyone is living in fear that today is the day the ball will drop and you'll get the call from HR. Good times.
Your post reminds me of a church camp song: Be strong and couragous and do not be afraid, the Lord goes before you each and every day. He'll never forsake you, don't be afraid.... I hope you are really not afraid. Things are hard economically for our nation, but I am praying that things will turn around soon. Remember, God is always in control. :)
