What much of my time looks like...

Mary Claire asking me to do something for her... put the bow back in her hair, buckle her stroller, unbuckle her stroller, put her on the kitchen stool, get her down from the kitchen stool, help her use the potty, change her diaper (go away, diapers!), hold her, put her down, etc., etc., etc.
And Ben, a ball of energy, running around like a chicken with his head cut off, knocking things down, stepping on and breaking things that happen to be on the floor (he has this weird thing where his feet are drawn like a magnet to whatever's on the floor - i.e., toys, etc.), beating up his stuffed animals, karate kicking his dad, etc.

Here's what to expect when it's quiet for 5 minutes: Ben has walked by a t.v. and is hypnotized by WHATEVER happens to be on the screen, and Mary Claire is into either lotion, medicine, or something liquid and is either eating it or bathing herself in it (as shown in a previous blog this week). I call it the eye of the hurricane. What a beautiful mess I'm in. :)

I love that your kids always look like real kids...always playing and being messy(I realize for me this sounds like a good thing...that they aren't confined to sit in clean rooms in front of the tv all the time...however, for you it must be daunting). How lucky they are!

I love it!! I was laughing hysterically! Only another Mommy can truly appreciate the hilarity that is life with young kids... and I'm just a Mommy of one crazy Kennebeck kiddo!
