Bought school supplies for Ben. Don't you love the smell of fresh pencils to remind you that a new school year is beginning? Before you know it, pumpkins will be ripe and the leaves will start to turn! Some things on his list that weren't on the list when we were growing up: dry erase markers and antibacterial hand cleaner.

How much did that set you back? I teach the 5th grade in a poverty area...I'm always concerned about the cost of supplies. Our principal was encouraging us to keep it simple this year, but we need and use all the things we have the kids bring! We start back Monday!!!Whew, it has been a great summer break!
Yes new school supplies are wonderful. New notebooks to doodle in, I mean to take notes in. :) I was a little sad this year because crayons were not on Tyler's 5th grade list. I don't think that bothered him though. Have a good week, Friday and Jason will be here before you know it.
Set me back around $32 (plus tax)at Walmart for required supplies. Then there was the lunch box, etc. on top of that.
suck up
