Have I mentioned that I love El Dorado? It's the friendliest town. I especially love walking around the downtown square, it's like a step back in time. I was in La Bella Gourmet Gifts & Delicatessen this morning to get a coke (because they have good ice!) and they gave me a taste of chocolate fudge too! Made my day. :) They are famous for their fudge at La Bella's.
Jason, Ben, Mary Claire and I went to the Showdown at Sunset on the square a couple weeks ago. It's a historic re-enactment of the infamous Parnell-Tucker gunfight that took place on the Courthouse square in the early 1900's. Showdown at Sunset takes place every Saturday night June - August.

No one up here understands the importance of good ice (or being overly friendly just for the heck of it)! I just don't get it!
